Malik Usman Ijaz (CFO)
Mr. Usman is a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan with cumulative working experience spanning over a decade. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible to lead the Finance Function of the Company. Mr. Usman actively advises the Board of Directors on financial matters of strategic importance. He has an extensive knowledge of pricing mechanism followed by the businesses operating in different segments of oil and gas industry. He is actively involved in advising the management on issues related to procurement, imports, and construction of Oil Terminal of the Company at Mehmood Kot, Muzaffargarh. He also aids the management in obtaining different kind of NoCs from various government agencies for construction of the Oil Terminal. Prior to joining the Company, he has served as Cost Controller of a renowned multinational company in telecom sector, where, he successfully developed and implemented cost models and turned a loss bearing company into a profit yielding entity.
After Experiencing The Success In Dealing With The Cost Management Of Pakistan Entity, Mr. Usman Advised On Cost Management Issues To The Other Group Entities In Asia-Pacific And Middle East Regions. He Successfully Handled The Project For Transition From An Online Accounting System To Deployment Of SAP Based ERP System And Also Trained The Accounting And HR Teams To Operate The System. In The Start Of His Professional Career, Mr. Usman Worked In The Finance And Accounts Function Of A Cement Manufacturing Company, Where He Was Involved In Preparation Of Budgets, Periodical Performance Reviews, And Preparation Of Financial Statements And Financial Reports For The Management.
